Sankt Annæ Plads 11

HAAGEN & MØLLER are situated at Sankt Annæ Plads 11. Sankt Annæ Plads is one of Copenhagen’s most beautiful public squares marking the border between the Nyhavn area and Frederikstaden neighborhoods of central Copenhagen.

HAAGEN & MØLLER

Sankt Annæ Plads was originally part of a canal which continued along present-day Bredgade and Esplanaden, surrounding the then Royal palace, Sophie Amalienborg. The Garrison Church was built in 1703–06 using i.a. bricks from the Royal palace, which was destroyed in a fire in 1689. The square was created when the canal was filled in connection with the foundation of the Frederikstaden district around 1750.
